Bath, England

The World Heritage City of Bath is one of the most known for its many beautiful buildings and the natural hot springs which gave the city its name.

Similar to the city, this project has a unique blend of architectural heritage and modern living.

Another effortless collaboration with Donavan Construction who commissioned us to undertake the structural engineers design, manufacture, and installation of these contemporary spiral stairs.

We completed the stairs and landing from concrete, by firstly placing steel in our timber form work moulds and with the use of a concrete pump filled the moulds with concrete. Logistics were at time challenging due to restricted space both inside and nevertheless the main stair and landing concrete structure were completed in under 2 days on-site.

Unlike traditional staircases, a spiral staircase does not have a large footprint and can be installed in small spaces. They add grandeur to a small area and improve the aesthetic of a room or home without taking up excess space for a larger staircase structure.
